Commissioned by the de Australian Snapsil Corporation, Moens Mouldings Group BV will produce a remarkable innovation for the European market: Snapsil®. Snapsil® is a portion pack with an innovative ‘snap’-opening. With one hand Snapsil® is very easy to open and to reclose. Because of the tailor-made dispensing opening, geared to the type of product, it is very simple to dose in a controlled way.
Three varieties
Snapsil® is applicable for a very wide range of products like vegetable food, dressing, sauces, candy, bubble gum, powders, cleaners and various granulates. Different varieties are available for these products; Snap ‘n Grow, Snap ‘n Dispense and Snap ‘n Pour.
Short time-to-market
The unique cooperation between Moens, contract packer Budelpack Poortvliet BV en Snapsil Corp. enables brand owners to realise a very short time-to-market (with low risk and low costs), even from 12 weeks.
The Snapsil® packaging is made of lightweight PP. The covering foil can be made of OPP/PE, Pap/PE or PET/PE depending on the needs. For the secondary packaging every desired variety can be offered. A thermoform solution is under development.
Moens Mouldings is not unknown to the food market. The demand for packaging in this segment is growing, and this is no surprise given the consumer demand for ready-made meals and comfort food.
